The history of the Hilltop Ale House begins with the concept of hospitality. Our central element has always been people. Offering people a gathering place, whether to protect them from the outside elements by nurturing them with good food, good company and a pint of fresh, local ale or by bringing them together as a community to interact, learn and grow.

We are located in the beautiful 'upper' Queen Anne neighborhood just minutes from the world renown Space Needle, the Key Arena, home to the Seattle Super Sonics basketball team as well as spectacular views of Mount Rainier, the Olympic Mountain Range and Puget Sound.
